BYSTANDER TO UPSTANDER Training Event
Join us November 10th from 5:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what you should say or do when you see or hear bias or hate happening around you? Have you ever walked away from a situation where the jokes or conversation were tinged with racial bias and you wanted to say something but you didn't know what to say? This is the event for you!
• Gain practical insight and knowledge to interrupt bias and hate in real-life encounters
• Build a repertoire of actionable responses so you can effectively intervene when bias occurs
• Leave with resources and tools for effective de-escalation and social accountability

Meal included at no cost. Food is served at 5:30 p.m. and training begins at 6:00 p.m.
