Alliance for Greater Equity was created when two similarly focused organizations came together. 

Cultural Diversity Network was hard at work for over 20 years in Owatonna with a goal of enriching the community's cultural understanding through education al opportunities.  This group hosted both Culturfest and Brewfest for many years instilling a long tradition of celebrating diversity.

Better Together came about more recently in 2019 in an effort to advance equity and build a cohesive community where unity, respect and dignity create a sense of belonging for everyone.

Together, we hope to continue our traditions as well as creating new ones as we continue down the path toward advancing equity and building a cohesive community where unity, respect and dignity create a sense of belonging for everyone.
